Man City manager Pep Guardiola says reaching the Champions League quarter-finals would be a dream.

The Blues travel to Monaco on Wednesday night in the second leg of their leg 16 clash, leading 5-3 on aggregate, and the boss told press he would be thrilled if his side progress in the competition.

“What I want is to make a good game,” he said. “I want to be in the quarter-finals - it would be a dream for me. We will see.

“Believe me I am not thinking about being in the semi-finals seven times in a row. No, I am here to help the Club reach the next round.

“I am not here for me - I am here for a group of people to do it better. I am so satisfied with my own personal success and it is enough.

“I want to help a new club be stable in Europe and after we see what level.”
