Tessa Wullaert says she and her Manchester City colleagues are itching to kick-off their Women’s Super League campaign at Chelsea tomorrow.
Nick Cushing’s side couldn’t have been handed a tougher opening assignment than a trip to face the reigning champions.
But Belgium record goalscorer Wullaert, who moved to join City in the summer from Wolfsburg, says the fixture has filled everyone with a sense of excitement.

And she believes the challenge of tackling Chelsea will help bring the best out of City.
“These are the games we play for and we have a lot of confidence after the Leicester game (in the Continetal Cup),” said Wullaert.
“There will be a lot of pressure on both sides and the game could set the tone for the season and we are very excited about it.”
