Pep Guardiola says Riyad Mahrez settled quickly after his summer move from Leicester.
The Algerian forward has scored three goals in his last two matches, including a brilliant double in the 5-0 win at Cardiff last weekend,
Asked if Mahrez had taken time to adjust to City’s style of play, Guardiola said: “I don’t have that feeling that he took time to adapt.
“In the states he was outstanding. Every time he played, he played so good and its important for the squad and his confidence. No doubt about quality or commitment.
“Courage to play, doesn’t feel the pressure and makes step forwards, he had that in Leicester so we knew he would do that here.”
