Danilo said he was delighted to have opened his scoring tally for the season away at Huddersfield to help Manchester City’s quest to retain our Premier League title.
The Brazilian saw his deflected strike set the Blues on our way to a 3-0 win at the John Smith’s Stadium to reduce the gap at the top of the table to four points.
And he said he and his City team-mates were determined to not to let up in the battle to be crowned champions.

“I’m happy for sure to score. I’m very happy to help the team and we have to keep going that way to try and win the league,” said the Brazilian full-back.
“We are happy as we won the game it was not easy and we have to keep going that way.
“If we want to win the Premier League, we have to win every week – we have to do our job and at the end of the season we will see.”
