Jesus’ four, along with Kevin De Bruyne, Oleks Zinchenko, Riyad Mahrez, Kyle Walker and Phil Foden’s goals saw the Blues edge a step close to Wembley.
Speaking after the game, Guardiola explained how Jesus’ quadruple would benefit the team moving forward.
“A striker needs goals,” Pep stated. “He had chances last game and today he scored!
“It’ll be good for him, good for the team, good for everybody!”
