Manchester City were in ruthless mood once again as the Blues recorded a 9-0 win over Burton Albion in our Carabao Cup semi-final first leg at the Etihad.
Just four days after hitting seven past Rotherham in the FA Cup, the Blues went two better with Gabriel Jesus leading the way with a four-goal haul.
Kevin De Bruyne had opened the scoring with a fifth minute header while Oleksandr Zinchenko got the biggest cheer of the net after netting with an amazing 30-yard dipping shot.
And substitute Phil Foden, four days after bagging his first goal at the Etihad, also got in on the scoring act before Kyle Walker got in on the scoring act.
And not to be outdone Riyad Mahrez then got in on the scoring act to set the seal on a remarkable victory for the Blues.
