Pep Guardiola says City will find a way to cope to with a demanding festive fixture schedule.

The Christmas and New Year TV fixtures were unveiled yesterday and will see City have to play two matches in less than 48 hours.

We will play at Wolves on December 27 at 7.45pm and then kick off against Sheffield United at the Etihad just two days later at 6pm.

On top of all the other fixtures throughout December and early January, it represents a demanding challenge.

However, Guardiola says he accepts the situation and insists his players will find a way to manage the situation.

“When I saw the fixtures, I said: ‘That’s OK’ I’m involved in this business so I accept it,” the City boss declared at his press conference ahead of Saturday’s trip to Crystal Palace..

“My concerns are for the players. For me it’s not a problem.

“We’ll work harder and harder. We solved it in the past and we’ll solve it in the future. That’s the only way rather than complaining.

“We cannot win four titles in one season (as we did last term) complaining. We accept it and we will be stronger.

“But we’re in October. We have many games before that we have to focus on... starting with Crystal Palace.”
