It’s 50 years since Manchester City delivered a performance so majestic it earned comparisons to the beauty of the ballet.
Maine Road, December 9, 1967. The snow was falling and the pitch was glazed with ice. City’s game against Tottenham somehow went ahead and the home side produced one the best performances in the Club’s history, winning 4-1, a result that spread belief among the squad they could win the title.
And, of course, they duly did.
To celebrate the anniversary of that special day, we have dug up the highlights.
So, sit back and enjoy a look back at one of City’s greatest displays.
