Paul Harsley’s side created a host of chances on our first game back after the October international break.
But we couldn’t find a way past Brighton keeper Jason Steele while Taylor Harwood-Bellis saw a header hit the bar.
And after soaking up continuous pressure, Brighton staged a smash and grab raid as former City midfielder Taylor Richards pounced to claim the spoils midway through the second half.
