David Silva played his final Premier League match on Sunday, a sad day for all those fans who enjoy the finer side of the game.
Fittingly, it was another fine performance from a man widely seen as one of English football’s finest imports as he orchestrated a 5-0 win over Norwich.
His City career isn’t yet over - we hope he plays four more games before riding off with the best wishes of everyone connected to the Club - but waving goodbye to the Premier League, a competition he has won four times in his decade at the Etihad, felt poignant.
