We start at the prestigious 2024 PFA awards ceremony which, appropriately enough, was this year held at Manchester’s Opera House.
It proved to be a magnificent and memorable night for the Club with Phil Foden taking the Men’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year prize and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw being named the Women’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year.
What’s more, City had four players named in the PFA Men’s Team of the Year and six in the PFA Women’s Team of the Year and we were there to chart a historic evening as it unfolded.
Attention then focuses on the welcome return to City of midfield talisman Ilkay Gundogan who sealed his sensational reunion after a year spent at Barcelona.

Our cameras were there with Gundo as he travelled to and underwent his medical as well as chronicling his emotional return to the CFA where he sealed his signing as well as exchanging greetings with staff and team-mates along with manager Pep Guardiola and Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
Last, but by no means least, the focus then turns to our first Premier League home fixture of the season against Ipswich Town.
City ran out convincing 4-1 winners to go top of the table with striker Erling Haaland registering the 10th hat-trick of his remarkable City career to date.
