Gareth Taylor’s team were also busy on the training pitches as they count down to the start of the season with a trip to Paris FC in the Women’s Champions League followed by Arsenal in the Women’s Super League.
They made time to welcome a special onlooker when Joe Jonas visited training the morning after a sell-out gig at Co-op Live with the Jonas Brothers.
