A dependable and versatile defender, the 23-year-old also had a huge impact in attacking areas, with his five Premier League goals the joint-most among players in his position across 2024/25.
One of those, an outstanding long-range effort against Wolves, was even named our Nissan Goal of the Month for October.
Receiving his award during some down time while at the FIFA Club World Cup, Gvardiol reflected on winning the award while also looking forward to what City can hopefully achieve in 2025/26.
