“We have FC Copenhagen, not today, but tomorrow they will be on my mind before we talk about Liverpool,” he said.

“But FC Copenhagen first in the Champions League. I know 1-3 is a good result but we have to be careful.
“We won 1-3 in Leipzig in the group stage and within 10 minutes we were 0-2 and a potential red card or a complication or whatever.
“So we have to be careful, and today in my mind is not Copenhagen. However tomorrow morning it’s just Copenhagen and after Wednesday night I will think about Liverpool.”

City’s run includes comeback wins against Everton, Newcastle, and now United and Guardiola praised the mentality of his players.
“What we won in the past that gives us the confidence,” he said. “This kind of game the only problem is when you are losing you lose composure and if that happens you lose 0-3.
“United live for that on the transitions and they really good at that. We managed it well, the first minutes of second half was not our best, but that’s normal after half-time.
“Phil scored one goal then our people [helped us to] the second and the third. The mood and the environment helped us score the next two.”
