City’s new Dutch defender has been familiarising himself with Manchester, the CFA and his new team-mates this week and he is already feeling at home.
Here’s a taste of the interview...
On Manchester: “I had a chance to look around and get a feel for the city and the town is very nice with a lot of good restaurants.”
New surrounds and team-mates:”This week I’ve obviously started training and have been getting to know the lads and it’s been good.
“The CFA is incredible - we have everything that we need.”

On Kevin De Bruyne reaching out to help him settle: “Kevin has been helping me since I moved here. Obviously, I knew him a little bit already, but he has been telling me where the nice areas to live are and it helps that he can speak Dutch, too.”
On the change from Bournemouth to City: “The expectations here, of course, are a lot bigger and I need to get used to that quickly.”
