Premier League Champions, Manchester City, will mark their title-winning campaign with the launch of a series of commemorative digital artwork, the ‘1’ collection, which will be available for purchase as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

This will be the first ever time a Premier League champion has dropped an NFT to celebrate a title win. 1, named to reflect City’s final position in the table, comprises four works by acclaimed multidisciplinary artist, Jon Noorlander, The Champions Celebrate, the hero piece of the collection, which will be a unique edition, Signed by the Champions, The Champions Mosaic and The Champions Medal.

This is the latest innovation from Manchester City, the Club which was named the most innovative sports team in the world, earlier this year, by the Sports Innovation Lab.

In addition to this drop, there will be a free prize draw giving fans and collectors all over the world a chance to win the prize of an edition of The Champions Medal. No purchase necessary.

A portion of Manchester City’s profits from the sale will go to the City in the Community charity, earmarked for our Manchester Cityzens Giving for Recovery project. The project uses football to support the mental health of local young people in Manchester in the wake of the pandemic, as part of City Football Group’s global recovery campaign bringing together its clubs, thousands of staff, players, coaches, and millions of fans to help communities get back on their feet in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 1 collection will drop on MakersPlace on Monday 24th May, the day after City lift the Premier League trophy at the Etihad Stadium.
