Former Nottingham Forest and Manchester City forward Nigel Clough has looked ahead to Wednesday evening's Premier League clash.

Clough made over 300 appearances for Forest, scoring 100 times as they won back-to-back League Cups in 1989 and 1990, as well as reach the FA Cup final in 1991.

He would leave for Liverpool following relegation in 1993, before moving to Maine Road three years later.

Now a hugely experienced manager at League Two side Mansfield Town, Clough looked ahead to Wednesday’s showdown between two of his former Clubs at the Etihad Stadium.

But while also having his say on Forest’s ambition in the transfer market and potential threat on the counter, there was also time for him to leave a message for former teammate and one of tonight’s Matchday Live pundits - Paul Dickov!

The full interview will be released on mancity.com and the official Man City app tomorrow when Nigel talks about facing City EDS in the Papa Johns Trophy, his time at the Club in the mid-1990s, the similarities between Pep Guardiola and his famous father, Brian, and much more!
