Pep Guardiola‘s men set off to Houston ahead of Wednesday’s friendly against Mexican side Club America at the NRG Stadium.
Preparations for the new season continue with City then facing German champions Bayern Munich at Green Bay’s iconic Lambeau Field on Saturday.
But before the squad set foot on the plane, they were greeted by comedian Milo McCabe - playing his flamboyant character, Troy Hawke!

Known for paying bizarre compliments to passers by at awards, events and numerous retail outlets, Hawke gave each member of the travelling team a quick pep talk to help get them in the mood for the tour.
From Jack Grealish‘s ‘fabulously symmetrical face’ to the ‘Nordic meat shield’ more commonly known as Erling Haaland, the players were pleased and confused by Hawke’s observations in equal measure!
