Alongside fellow City legend David Silva, our former skipper’s contributions to a truly memorable period in the Club’s history are being honoured with a statue at the Etihad Stadium.
The monument, created by renowned sculptor Andy Scott, will be unveiled at this Saturday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal.
Kompany lead City to our first top flight title in 44 years in 2012, and claimed a further three Premier League crowns, two FA Cups, four League Cups and two Community Shields during his 11-year association with the Club.
