Chad Gribble arrived at the start of the campaign as Assistant Coach while Diego Restrepo linked up with the Blues as Goalkeeping Coach.
Taylor has been thrilled with their impact and said he’s aiming to bolster the non-playing squad even further.
Gribble, he insists, has made a ‘super impressive’ transition into working in women’s football after a background previously built on youth development while he hailed Restrepo’s clear and concise sessions with the goalkeeping unit.
“They have really helped a lot,” said Taylor as he addressed the media ahead of City’s UEFA Champions League qualifying second leg at home to Paris FC.
“Sometimes it’s important to freshen things up and naturally that can happen in many ways.
“We’re still looking to bring in another first team coach which will help us and Chad even more.
“But the impact he’s had so far has been excellent, he’s an excellent young coach with various experience at different levels and the way he has adapted to coaching women’s football has been super impressive.

“It’s allowed me to focus my energy in the right areas whereas previously I was probably doing too much.
“He’s very good at delivering on and off pitch, his messages are clear, he creates a safe environment where the girls can be themselves, feel they can raise and ask questions. “That’s really important because they have to go out and deliver and we support as much as we can.
“Diego has a challenge with a Japanese goalkeeper in Yama [Ayaka Yamashita], we said we wouldn’t make it easy for him but he has been great and had previous experiences at Bay and Washington DC when Wayne Rooney was there, and working with Wales women.
“His sessions have been great, he’s been clear on what it looks like for the goalkeepers and supported them really well.
“We’re really pleased with how things are going.”
