Gareth Taylor says Manchester City are looking forward to the upcoming busy fixture schedule ahead of Sunday's league clash away at Birmingham City.

Taylor’s team return to action this Sunday for the first time in more than two weeks due to this month’s international break, with our last outing producing a convincing 3-0 derby victory over Manchester United.

After the recent break City now face four games in just 11 days, including a two-legged Champions League tie with Italian outfit, Fiorentina, but Taylor believes his side are refreshed and ready for the challenge ahead.

“It seems a long time since we played Arsenal and Man United,” he said.

“It gives you a chance to reflect, refocus and regenerate all our energy and put everything now into this next period of games.

“We’ve got a lot on with Europe and the WSL [Women’s Super League] and it’s something we’re all looking forward to.”
