It capped off a brilliant performance from the midfielder, whose tireless running and excellent technical ability drove Gareth Taylor‘s side on to a potentially significant victory at the Academy Stadium.
For Coombs, it was an example of the growing influence that Angeldahl is having on City’s midfield, in particular hailing her composure on the ball.

“I’m so happy for her. It was some strike, no back lift, top corner, just wow.
“We are such a good group and everyone is so calm and composed.
