Gunn did has growing international reputation no harm in the tournament, producing a wonderful save from Germany’s Jonathan Tah on the half-hour mark in the opening game and another top drawer stop in the game against Holland to keep England in with a chance.
This is the second age-group Angus has represented his country at, having made his debut for England u16s in February 2011.
This friendly international competition was preparation for next month’s Euro Elite Round Qualifiers against Portugal, Russia and Slovenia, with a place in the European Championships up for grabs.
Gunn will be hoping to be next in action for City u18s at home to Arsenal at Platt Lane on Saturday morning.
