It was a hugely impressive team performance from the boys. Vasco showed in their first match just how dangerous they are on the ball and to limit them to just a handful of clear-cut opportunities is testament to the hard work the team put in.

Today, the team have been in the pool again, winding down after last night’s exertions. Scott Sellers and the coaching team have been attending to the serious business of their suntans before tonight when they will be attending a coaching clinic where they will impart their knowledge on to local children from beyond social services.
Tomorrow, focus returns to the Jalan Besar stadium where City will take on Singapore u15s in Group B. A draw will be enough to put the Blues through to the semi-finals of the competition - I’ll be doing my best to keep that veneer of professionalism intact through the 80 minutes.
