Building on the huge success of the Abu Dhabi School of Football launched this year, the Lebanon School of Football will see a Manchester City Head Coach deliver the very latest training techniques to local coaches and children in multiple sites in Lebanon.
The ten week program that caters for girls and boys of all abilities includes a broad range of training regimes that reflects the training philosophy of the club from first team through to the Academy. Designed to teach children how to play the City way, the sessions instil the same values and beliefs which have helped the Club challenge for this year’s Premier League.
Many of the routines and exercises aimed at improving players technical skills are based on the same guiding principles used at the Club’s Carrington training ground, honed by the likes of Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Joe Hart and Vincent Kompany.
Children not only learn the physical skills and qualities necessary to develop on the pitch, but the equally important life skills needed off it, such as team work, discipline, perseverance, pride, professionalism and passion to name but a few.
