Staff have spent several days at various charities and locations across Greater Manchester, offering a helping hand at what can be a difficult time of year for many.
Staff supported local food pantries and food banks, creating packages for people who use the facilities.
They also helped support local charity, SPIN, in repurposing an old storage container.
Manchester City’s Under-21s and some Academy members also volunteered their time throughout the month.
The Under-21s helped out at the Stirling Centre to decorate and regenerate the location, with some Academy members attending CITC’s Winter Wonderland Christmas Party.
Micah Hamilton, an Academy player said: “It has been great to get involved in City in the Community’s Christmas activities.”
“To give back to the local community is an incredibly rewarding experience. An hour or so of our time can mean and can make a great impact so it is great to get involved.”
To further support the local community this Christmas, CITC has donated £10,000 to local foodbanks, helping to purchase Christmas Day meals for those who might otherwise go without.
