City Matters is Manchester City’s fan network, made up of ten voluntary members, who meet with the Club on a bi-monthly basis.

As well as discussing a wide range of issues and topics which are important to fans, the network has been designed to create an environment where ideas and feedback can be shared, so that new initiatives can be introduced, to benefit everyone who supports Manchester City.

To ensure fairness and allow others to have an opportunity to be part of this fan network, part of the process is to recruit new reps on a regular basis. As a result, Manchester City has four positions available for fans to join City Matters, alongside existing representatives, to form the Club’s fan network for the 2020/21 season.

The network, established in 2018, provides fans with the opportunity to meet senior Club representatives on a bi-monthly basis to discuss a wide range of matchday topics, which includes ticketing, catering and atmosphere, amongst others.

The 2020/21 City Matters network will consist of ten voluntary members who are appointed by the Club to represent ten key demographic groups. Manchester City invites applications for prospective Fan Representatives of the following groups:

  • Families representative
  • Under 25s representative
  • Women’s representative
  • Black, Asian or of Mixed Heritage representative
