In today’s edition of City Passion, we speak to passionate 20-year-old Indian City supporter Vasav Gupta, a young man with deep-rooted love for the Club.
What made you become a City fan?
I fell in love with football when I started watching Sergio Aguero tear defences apart, David Silva produce magic with the ball at his feet and Vincent Kompany passionately give his all to defend the Club he loved.
It was those things that mean I now love this Club, too.
What is your earliest memory of supporting the Club?
Aguero’s debut was massive!
From the moment he came on, I knew he’s going to be the best striker in the world - and he scored some beautiful goals to back that up in the first few minutes he was on the pitch!

Do you have a favourite City game from your time watching us?
Bayern Munich 2-3 Man City.
The QPR final game of the 2012 Premier League season is unbeatable but this game showed that we are on our way to being the biggest club in the world
How would you describe what supporting City means to you?
Even on my saddest day, if I see Kevin De Bruyne and Aguero, it lifts my mood.
I feel like I’m a part of the team and the team loves me.
It doesn’t matter if we win lose or tie, We are City till we die!
Do you have a favourite City player and, if so, why?
Kevin De Bruyne. If there was ever a genius in football it is Kevin De Bruyne. He could feed you the ball even if you’re running away from it.
What are your hopes for this season?
We will be the champions of England and Europe, because we are the best team in the land and all the world. #CTID
