The Global Forums, taking place on Webex by Cisco, provide a regular opportunity for young leaders to connect with each other and with City in the Community coaches to share learning and innovation on using the power of football to uplift the health and wellbeing of young people in their communities.
The first Forum kicked off with a focus on community coaching, providing practical tools and tips to upskill young leaders in delivering engaging and inclusive community football sessions for young people in their programmes.
Each forum includes pre-event content, a live 90 minute interactive discussion and a post-event task, designed to help the young leaders put their learning into practice, and reward creativity and innovation.

The Global Forums are a key part of Cityzens Giving’s digital learning network, which drives year-round connectivity across projects and young leaders globally.
Launched in July 2020, off the back of our first ever virtual Young Leaders Summit, the digital network has fostered connectivity and collaboration between projects, equipping more than 1,000 Young Leaders with the skills, confidence and support systems they need to continue improving the lives of city kids through football.
