Mike joined Manchester City’s charitable arm back in 2004 and has now accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer at sister Club, Lommel SK, where he will oversee all business and football operations.
Mike has been fundamental in the expansion of City in the Community, transforming it into one of the UK’s leading football charities since taking on the top role over nine years ago.
Under his guidance, City in the Community has grown from 30 to 115 members of staff and has seen a rise from £600k to £3.5m in annual turnover. During this time, CITC has been applauded with multiple awards including a Special Recognition Award from the Queen’s Representative for Services to the Community in each of the last two years.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Patrick Loftus, will work closely with CITC’s experienced Senior Leadership Team to ensure a smooth transition for the whole charity, from staff to participants and partners. The recruitment process will begin immediately.
