PUMA’s campaign RE:FIBRE, where fans are encouraged to donate their old garments to help reduce waste, is taking over City Square this weekend for a special event hosted by City legends Joleon Lescott and Shaun Wright-Phillips.

On Saturday 6 May, before our home game against Leeds United, fans who bring their old garments (of any brand) will be in with a chance to win Tunnel Club tickets for the 2023/24 season.

Joleon and Shaun will be in City Square from 12:30 (UK) to 15:00 (UK) collecting your donations, just make sure your garments are freshly washed, and remember we can’t accept underwear, swimwear and socks.

If fans are unable to attend on matchday, bins will continue to be available in the Manchester City stadium store for the remainder of the season.

As part of PUMA’s latest efforts towards sustainability, they plan to increase their overall usage of recycled polyester (by weight) to 75% by 2025 across PUMA’s Apparel and Accessories products.

All RE:FIBRE garments are made of at least 95% of recycled textile waste and other used materials made of polyester.

By transforming textile waste and other used materials into new textiles, we can be Forever Better.

While all donations are welcomed and encouraged, the usual rules regarding bags in the stadium apply. Supporters are asked to ensure they apply this when gathering their items for donation and make their deposit prior to entering the stadium.
