Continuing our trip around the world with the Treble Trophy Tour, after visiting Girona and Barcelona, in Spain, we headed to Lisbon, Portugal, home of our stars Rúben Dias and Bernardo Silva.

This trip had a special mission: taking the trophies to places that marked the memories of our players. This was done by returning to places of Rúben and Bernardo‘s childhood, when they were “miúdos”, the word for “kids” in Portugal.

But first, however, the trophies needed to have their register in the Portuguese capital. This was done in the Marques de Pombal monument, that is located in the middle of a big roundabout.

Then the trophies guaranteed another beautiful photo in Lisbon: a second picture was taken in front of the Se Cathedral, one of the most famous tourist attractions in the city. The composition of the image became even more elaborate with the the traditional tram being driven on the steep street on the background.

With the photo taken, our destination then was Amadora, a city neighboring Lisbon where the Escola Básica Roque Gameiro is located. It was there that Rúben Dias studied during his adolescence.

In addition to creating a very special day for the students, who took photos with the Big 5, we also met Dias’ former teacher Margarida Abreu.

She said that one day the young man missed class. The next morning, the teacher asked Dias why he was absent. Rúben said he had to do that because he had turned 18 and signed his first contract as a professional player.

Margarida received an autographed shirt from Dias, and invited him to come to the school next time, so they can catch up.

Later that day, it was time to make the children who attend Largo Frederico Valsassina, the same school where Bernardo Dias studied, very happy.

With the trophies lined up in the main hall, hundreds of students took selfies with the FA Cup, Premier League, Champions League, Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup cups.

The next day, it was time to continue with special activations together with our most loyal supporters. The Tour went to the Colombo Shopping Center, where the cups were displayed in the main hall. Several fans also received t-shirts signed by Rúben and Bernardo.

Later in the afternoon the Ferrovíário Bar and Terraço hosted a event in an even more exclusive place. City’s fans once again took unique photos with City’s five trophies and were able to enjoy an unforgettable evening.

Next stop, Ireland.
