Since the launch of the global citizenship campaign, more than 181,000 votes have been cast and this week and his squad have pledged their support to Cityzens Giving.

Bravo and the Spanish defender took part in a number of football and music challenges as they found out more about Boots and Beats, which tackles youth unemployment within the city.

“It makes me proud to know that the Club I play for is very committed to its community, both here in Manchester and around the world. I encourage all City fans to vote for the project that inspires them the most and make a difference today!”

Now in its third year, Cityzens Giving has seen the City Football Group and its partners donate £400,000, with fans of Manchester City, NYCFC and Melbourne City deciding how the money will be allocated between community projects in six cities around the world.

Run by young leaders in Manchester, New York City, Melbourne, Mexico City, Beijing and Bandung in Indonesia, the projects tackle damaging issues affecting young people in their city, including substance abuse, unemployment and disability inclusion.

Pep has already chosen which project gets his vote, while Gael Clichy and Table Pong’ challenge, which produced some hilarious results.

In the past three years Cityzens Giving has used long term community football projects to help more than 16,000 young people in nine cities.

In addition to funding, all projects provide training and share their experiences of how they are using the power of football to tackle social issues.
