The 45-year-old arrived to take charge of the Club’s Under-21s in the summer of 2021.
He subsequently guided the Elite Development Squad to successive Premier League 2 title triumphs in both 2021/22 and 2022/23 with City, in the process, becoming the first Club to win a hat-trick of PL2 championships following our maiden success in 2020/21.
Furthermore, during the Irishman’s spell at the helm, a host of EDS players also gained vital experience both training with Pep Guardiola’s first team squad as well as making their senior City debuts.
Academy Director Thomas Kruecken said: “Brian has made a huge contribution in his time at the Club.
“Guiding our Under-21s to two successive Premier League 2 titles was a superb achievement and he deserves great credit for the role he played.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Brian for all of his efforts during his time at the Club and to wish him well for his future career.”
Everyone at Manchester City thanks Brian for all of his hard work over the past three seasons and wishes him the very best going forward.
