It’s fair to say it has been a stellar first half of the 2022/23 season for Elite Development Squad winger Carlos Borges.
Our 18-year-old Portuguese starlet has been in quite sensational form for Brian Barry-Murphy’s squad, claiming an astonishing 16 goals from only 18 appearances across all competitions.
Just for good measure, Borges has also bagged three hat-tricks too to help the EDS squad fly high in PL2 and reach the knockout stages of the UEFA Youth League.

A positive, engaging character both on and off the field, we recently accompanied Carlos across town to Ardwick for a special photographic shoot as he took time away from his busy schedule at the CFA.
And as our gallery demonstrates, Borges cuts as much of a dash in front of the lens as he does on the field!
