Following back-to-back league wins in the Premier League 2 - a 3-2 comeback win over Derby County and a 5-0 triumph over Everton - City sit fifth after three games.
But there is now a brief pause to club football with the first international break of the 2024/25 season now in full swing.
CITY’S ACADEMY - THE MONTH AHEAD
But the players who are not with their respective nations were out on the City Football Academy training pitches on Tuesday as our attention now turns to our opening Youth League game in which we welcome Inter Milan to the Joie Stadium for a 15:00 (UK) kick-off on Wednesday 18 September.
With that in mind, Ben Wilkinson were in high spirits as they played out some drills in the rare September sun that spread across Manchester.
