The Under-18 Premier League National Final will see the U18 North title holders, City, take on our South counterparts, with the triumphant team named Under-18 Premier League champions.
Oliver Reiss’ Under-18s secured our place in the prestigious final following a 5-3 win over Derby County.
Goals from Kylan Midwood, Teddie Lamb and Xavier Parker confirmed three points and after second-place Manchester United lost 2-0 to Newcastle.
And following their South title triumph in April, City will take on Chelsea later this month, with the date and kick-off time to be confirmed.
It will be the third time we face Chelsea this season. Our first encounter with the London outfit saw City win 3-2 in our Under-18 Premier League Cup clash at the City Football Academy.
The second match-up saw us travel to Kingsmeadow for our fifth-round FA Youth Cup clash.
After a tense but exciting end-to-end opening 45 minutes, City ran rampant in the second half, with goals from Floyd Samba, Dante Headley, Xavier Parker and Ryan McAidoo too much for Ryan Kavuma McQueen’s consolation as Oliver Reiss’ side won 4-1.
And for a third occasion, our young Blues will be hoping to put on another positive performance against the U18 PL South title winners in what will be our final game of 2025/26.
