Three Manchester City players have been called up by England Under-21s for the November international break, whilst six Academy youngsters have been named in the Three Lions’ junior teams.

Cole Palmer joins Tommy Doyle and Taylor Harwood-Bellis, who are on loan at Hamburg and Anderlecht respectively, in Lee Carsley’s Under-21 set-up for the latest round of European Championship qualifying matches.

The Young Lions face the Czech Republic at Burnley’s Turf Moor on Thursday 11 November, before a trip to Georgia five days later.

Joshua Wilson-Esbrand and James McAtee have been named in the Under-20 squad alongside the on-loan duo of Morgan Rogers (Bournemouth) and James Trafford (Accrington Stanley).

The City quartet are part of a 20-man squad to face Portugal in a friendly on Thursday 11 November.

Callum Doyle, who has played 16 times during his loan spell at Sunderland, has been selected for the Under-19s.

Ian Foster’s side travel to Stockholm for a trio of European Championship qualifiers against Andorra, Switzerland and Sweden between 10-16 November.

In the Under-18s, Rico Lewis is the sole City representative in the 24-man squad for the Pinatar Tournament in Spain, where the Young Lions will face the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal between 11-15 November.
