The 19-year-old, who signed a new long-term contract with City last week, was in inspired form once again last month, helping Brian Barry-Murphy’s side regain top spot in PL2.
McAtee, who was also voted PL2 Player of the Month in August, was on target in three successive matches to help our EDS side overcome Blackburn 5-3, Manchester United 3-1 and Chelsea 1-0.
That took his overall tally for the season to date to 14 goals from 15 games with McAtee currently the leading scorer in PL2.
