The Manchester City EDS midfielder is one of six players to be nominated by the league’s Football Development Panel after all PL2 coaches were asked to pick the best performance by an opposing player.
McAtee, who was a key part of last season’s Under-18s side which won both the Under-18 Premier League and Premier League titles, turned out twice for Enzo Maresca’s side in PL2 action in September, scoring three times.

The 18-year-old claimed a brace in our 3-3 draw with Derby on the opening day of the PL2 season and was also on target in our narrow 2-1 loss at at Blackburn.
