Elite Development Squad midfielder Mahamadou Susoho has completed a permanent transfer to Turkish Super Lig side Kocaelispor.

The 21-year-old spent the first half of the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Scottish Premiership outfit Livingston, where he made 18 league appearances.

The Spaniard joined City’s Academy in 2017 and quickly became an eye-catching figure as he progressed through the age groups.

In 2021/22, Susoho gained valuable experience in his first season with Under-18s. He totalled 17 appearances as he went on the help the side win the Under-18 Premier League title.

The following campaign, Susoho progressed to the Under-21s side. He totalled 20 games across all competitions, impressing so much he was handed his senior competitive debut against Red Star Belgrade in the UEFA Champions League.

After spending more time with Pep Guardiola’s first team during our US pre-season tour in 2024, Susoho went on loan for the first time.

He spent the 2024/25 campaign at Peterborough United, totalling 17 appearances in all competitions and helped The Posh win the EFL Trophy as Susoho continued to develop his craft in senior football.

He will now continue his fledgling career in the Turkish top flight.

Everyone at Manchester City would like to wish Mahamadou the very best of luck on the next stage of his football journey.
