Brian Barry-Murphy‘s youngsters were straight back to the grind following a new year rest ahead of our first competitive fixture of 2024.
That comes in just under two weeks’ time, away to Stoke City in Premier League 2 as we look to climb back up the table after a tough start to the campaign.
But while our young charges have found our domestic season a challenge, our European exploits have been a fitting reward for all of City’s hard work and commitment so far this term.

Finishing top of UEFA Youth League Group G, Barry-Murphy’s side have progressed to February’s Last 16 stage, and will be hoping to go the distance on the continent.
But before they can get excited about those opportunities, our players were hard at work to ensure we return in the best possible condition against Stoke on Monday 15 January.
As always, excited faces were accompanied by a steely focus, as City prepare for what’s sure to be a memorable 2024.
