Forwards Carlos Borges ,Adedire Mebude, and goalkeeper Mikki Van Sas are all up for the monthly prize after impressing last month.
City EDS were unbeaten in January, winning three games and drawing the other to remain top of the PL2 table, two points clear of Chelsea with a game in hand.
A total of eight nominees are up for the award after being selected by the Premier League’s Football Development Panel.
The full PL2 Player of the Month shortlist for January is: Dominic Ballard (Southampton), Mason Burstow (Chelsea), Joe Hugill (Manchester United), Abu Kamara (Norwich City), Divin Mubama (West Ham United), Adedire Mebude, Carlos Borges and Mikki Van Sas (Manchester City).
The winner will be announced on Friday 10 February at 10am.
