Saturday’s superb 3-1 win over Fulham in the showpiece National final at the Academy Stadium capped an unforgettable few weeks for the City Academy.
The talented winger, who joined City from Millwall in the summer of 2019, was also part of the EDS squad that claimed a first-ever Premier League 2 title in April before he then helped the Under-18s retain our Premier League North crown.
Reflecting on the season, Edozie said he took enormous pride from our achievements.
“It’s one of those seasons you will never forget. I will cherish and look back on our achievements,” Edozie admitted.

“I came to City trying to win trophies so to win three in one season is amazing.
“For the Under-18s, winning the league was the first step and a big achievement.
“But then you want to be the best in the whole of England so to win the National final is fantastic and everyone is very happy.
“Coming into the Under-18s, we had four games in 11 days to win the league so that was tough as we had win all four.
“But we stuck together and got the job done.”
Edozie produced a superb display both scoring and providing an assist with his pace and trickery on the wing a constant thorn in the Fulham defence.

And the England Under-18 international said the showpiece occasion had helped inspire him and that as one of the older members of the group he wanted to provide a lead.
“It was a final and I was very hyped up for it,” Edozie admitted.
“I like to play the big games I’ve always been like that. I see them as an opportunity to show e what I can do.
“I came all out guns blazing, and I was very happy to put on a good performance.
“Being one of the older players for the Under-18s, there is a lot of responsibility to put in a good performance and I was happy to do it.
“Moving up from London to Manchester wasn’t easy but I’m loving my football and I’m very happy I made the move and I’m very proud of everyone in the squad.”
