The Manchester City striker is one of eight nominees for the accolade and is up against Mathis Eboué, Chizaram Ezenwanta (both Chelsea), Joseph Junior Gabriel, Albert Mills (both Manchester United, Joe Roberts (Middlesbrough), Joshua Sonni-Lambie (Liverpool), Tyler Tingey (Tottenham Hotspur).
Lamb has enjoyed an outstanding campaign as City won the Under-18 Premier League North title for the second successive season under Oliver Reiss.
The 16-year-old has scored 21 goals so far in the Under-18 Premier League North to see him as the division’s second top scorer, behind Gabriel by one, which included hat-tricks against Wolves and Burnley.
The clinical City striker also provided five assists to help us fire home an incredible 93 goals in the 2025/26 campaign, which sees us top the table for goals scored by a whopping 31 more than second place Manchester United.
The award nominees were decided by the Premier League’s Football Development Panel and the winner will be announced at the Premier League Youth Development Conference on the evening of Tuesday 12 May.
