The triumph marked our second consecutive success in the competition, as Gareth Taylor‘s young charges smashed the Potters with a stunning second half display.
Sam Edozie had opened the scoring in the opening 45 before City blitzed four goals in nine minutes with strikes from Liam Delap, James McAtee and Cole Palmer.
