A NEW FORMAT
Just like the new-look UEFA Champions League, City will compete in one 36-team league phase instead of groups.
All competing teams will play six matches in the league phase.
If City are to look to qualify for the knockout stage of the competition, Wilkinson and his side will need to place in the top 22 after the six games.
More information about the knockout stages of the competition will be provided at a later date.
