City u19s take on AS Roma in the second UEFA Youth League match on Tuesday and they need your support!

The boys in blue got the campaign off to a dream start with a 4-1 thumping of Bayern in Munich, and are now aiming to secure maximum points from the opening two games when the Italians come to Ewen Fields.

Now, we’re calling on you to help turn Hyde blue and cheer City’s stars of the future on to victory over Roma.

Patrick Vieira’s young side put on some stunning performances in this competition last term, beating Viktoria Plzen home and away and hammering Bayern Munich 6-0 at Hyde to qualify for the knockout rounds of the inaugural competition, which showcases the cream of the continent’s young talent.

After a thoroughly accomplished victory over Atletico Madrid in Spain in the round of 16, over 4000 City fans turned out for the quarter final against Benfica, when the home side were unlucky to suffer a narrow defeat to the Portuguese.

This year, City are looking to go even further, starting with victory over the Italian outfit. Bring your flags, scarves and singing voices and get behind the team as they bid for European glory.

Entry is FREE for all Seasoncard holders, with all other tickets priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions. You can buy on the day from the dedicated turnstile or buy online now: http://tickets.mcfc.co.uk/events.aspx

Plus, if you fancy a Champions League treat, we’re offering you the chance to win tickets to watch City’s first team take on Roma on Tuesday evening!

Get down early and keep your eyes peeled for entry into our half time competition, and you could be off to watch Manuel Pellegrini’s men in action under the Etihad floodlights.

If that wasn’t enough, Moonchester and Moonbeam will be on hand with t-shirts and scarves to give away.

Kick off is at 2pm, Tuesday 30 September at Ewen Fields, Hyde (SK14 2SB).

See you there!
