Sinan Bytyqi has signed a new two and a half year contract with City and joined SC Cambuur on loan until 30 June.

The Austrian youth international has penned a new deal that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2017, and is now set to further his footballing education with a temporary spell in the Eredivisie.

A regular starter for Patrick Vieira’s EDS side, Sinan made his City first team debut in the 3-0 victory over Al-Ain in Abu Dhabi in May 2014, and was rewarded for a strong start to the 2014/15 campaign with a place on the bench for the third round Capital One Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday.

The versatile forward will take his place in Cambuur’s first team squad ahead of their league clash with ADO Den Haag on Saturday. The Leeuwarden outfit currently lie sixth in the Dutch top division, and the 18-year-old will hope to help his new side finish in a coveted Europa League spot.
