Craig Bellamy was on the scoresheet as City beat Hyde 4-1 at Ewen Fields on Friday evening.
The match, an annual tribute to the highly-respected Hyde secretary Ray Stanley who died in 2000, attracted a crowd of almost 500 and was a useful work-out for both teams.
City went ahead through Bellamy on 15 minutes and Luca Scapuzzi made it 2-0 before the break before the Tigers pulled one back five minutes into the second half.
The Blues restored their grip on the game through a Joan Roman double on 72 and 76 minutes to wrap up the game.
